I-15; SR-73 TO 12300 SOUTH (THE POINT)

PROJECT DETAILS

Seven miles of I-15 widening, aux lanes and reconstruction beginning at Timpanogos Highway (SR-92) in Alpine Utah and ending at 12300 South Interchange in Draper Utah. Featuring full depth PCCP paving and modification to ramps at 2100 North, SR-92, 14600 South, Bangerter Highway, and 12300 South. Two new bridges at 14600 South and 14600 South cross street. Relocation of Minuteman Drive, reconstruction of East Jordan Canal box culvert, and a noise wall at I-15 Bangerter ramp.
To meet the Utah Department of Transportation’s aggressive schedule timeline, accelerated design and construction techniques, partial-depth deck panels, reliable suppliers, high quality subcontractors and innovative traffic control movements were utilized throughout the construction.
